บทความวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาพฤติกรรมการแสวงหาสารสนเทศและปัญหาการแสวงหาสารสนเทศ

ของนักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรี มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏบ้านสมเด็จเจ้าพระยา งานวิจัยนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงปริมาณ โดยกลุ่มตัวอย่าง

เป็นนักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรี มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏบ้านสมเด็จเจ้าพระยา จํานวน 372 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล

คือ แบบสอบถาม สถิติที่ใช้ ได้แก่ ค่าความถี่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และค่าส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน

ผลการศึกษา พบว่า นักศึกษามีพฤติกรรมการแสวงหาสารสนเทศ เริ่มต้นจากแสวงหาสารสนเทศจากแหล่งสื่อออนไลน์

ใกล้ตัว เชื่อมโยงสารสนเทศจากคําสําคัญที่ปรากฏในเอกสาร สํารวจเลือกดูสารสนเทศจากรายการแสดงผลการค้นหาจากหน้า

เว็บไซต์ แยกแยะสารสนเทศจากความน่าเชื่อถือของแหล่งที่มาและความเกี่ยวข้องกันของเนื้อหาสารสนเทศ ตรวจตราสารสนเทศ

จากสื่อสังคมออนไลน์ ดึงสารสนเทศออกมาใช้จากบทคัดย่อ ตรวจสอบสารสนเทศโดยการเปรียบเทียบสารสนเทศจากแหล่งอื่น ๆ

และนําสารสนเทศที่ได้ไปใช้งานตามวัตถุประสงค์ โดยติดตามสื่อสารสนเทศจากสื่อสังคมออนไลน์และใช้คําค้นในการแสวงหา

สารสนเทศเป็นภาษาไทย ปัญหาการแสวงหาสารสนเทศของนักศึกษาที่พบ ได้แก่ สารสนเทศที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการเรียนมีจํานวน

ไม่เพียงพอ สารสนเทศเก่า ไม่ทันสมัย และไม่ตรงกับความต้องการ

This article explores the information-seeking behavior and its problems of undergraduate students

at Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University. Quantitative research was employed, using a questionnaire for

data collection derived from a randomized sample group which comprised 372 undergraduate students

studying at Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University. The descriptive statistics used for data analysis are

frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation.

The findings confirm that information-seeking behaviors based on data collection derived from

undergraduate students in Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University are relevant to at least the following

steps; seeking information from the accessible online media sources; exploring and selecting information

from the search results list on the website; connecting information from keywords that appear in the

document; selecting information from the reliable source and the relevance content; observing information

from social media; extracting information use from abstracts; comparing information among other sources;

and applying the obtained information for use according to the student’s goals by following information

from social media and using keywords in Thai for the search. The main information-seeking problems of

undergraduate students at Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University are at followings, ranging from the most

to the least problems; inadequate information for learning resources, outdated resources and information,

and information and resources do not meet the needs of students, respectively.
